Neil is currently Director of Macro Modelling and scenarios, based in London after spending 5 years in New York where he led the Macroeconomic Consultancy in the Americas.

Having initially worked in various financial roles where he became a member of the Charted Institute of Management Accounts he joined Oxford Economics in September 2012 working on country forecasts and the global scenario service. Following his move to New York, he became involved in a number of regulatory scenarios including work on CCAR, DFAST, HKMA, CECL and IFRS9. He also worked on a number of model development projects to expand the Global Economic model. Since his return to London, he has headed the Macroeconomic modelling and scenarios team, overseeing the production and development of Oxford Economics Global Economic model as well as leading consultancy projects.

Dr Nicholas Fearnley is the Head of Global Construction Forecasting, based in Sydney. Nicholas oversees the teams that produce the various construction, mining, and maintenance studies. He works over the full construction spectrum, and regularly presents and provides commentary for both the construction and mining industries.

Nicholas joined Oxford Economics in 2019 after working at Macromontor, where he was responsible for producing regular Australian building construction forecast reports, and bespoke cost escalation and material demand forecasts.

Prior to joining Macromonitor, Nicholas completed a PhD at the University of Sydney with a thesis titled: “A Critical and Quantitative Analysis of the Relationship between Informal Institutions and Economic Development.” He was awarded the Walter Noel Gillies Prize for best PhD thesis in Economics, and his thesis was accepted without edits.

Nicholas has undergraduate degrees in both Accounting and Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and a first class honours degree in Accounting from the University of Sydney with a thesis titled: “Culture and the Measurement Decision Offered by Investment Property”.

Nick specialises in model building and economic impact analysis. He has experience of working on major studies for clients in many different industries and countries in both the private and public sectors, built up from a twenty-five-year career working in Economic Consultancy.

Since joining Oxford Economics in 2008, Nick has worked on many high-profile economic impact studies across the aerospace, defence, and transport sectors. He has also led studies for several international food and beverage companies across different countries that looked at the implications of different excise tax regimes both for the structure of markets and for government revenues.

Nick previously spent 12 years at Experian where he directed the Economics Business Unit and established the Economic Modelling Team. Nick holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Business Economics with Computing from the University of Surrey.

Noelani King Conradie is the managing director for Oxford Economics Africa. Towards the end of 2002, Noelani decided to launch an independent economic service and founded NKC Independent Economists. The business has since grown into a team of over 30 people and in 2015 Noelani sold a majority stake in NKC to Oxford Economics. The company name was then rebranded as NKC African Economics. In September 2021, NKC African Economics decided to fully align its brand with its majority shareholder and became known as Oxford Economics Africa.

Noelani obtained her BCom (Honours) degree from the University of Pretoria, receiving distinctions for both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Her career started in 1995 at RMB Asset Management, before she became a financial economist at Absa Corporate Bank's treasury department. After a period in the stock-brokering arena at SG Frankel Pollak Securities, she relocated to Cape Town to start an economics department at PSG Investment Bank in 1999.

During his time at Oxford Economics, Pete has managed and conducted a number of large consulting projects including a major global economic impact study of Etihad Airways, a project assessing the contribution Rolls-Royce makes to both the UK and the global economy, Oxford Economics’ impact work for Abu Dhabi Ports Company, several pieces assessing the economic impact of nuclear power in the UK, a number of studies exploring Gatwick Airport’s economic contribution and research assessing Boeing’s employment impact on the EU.

He was also night editor, business news editor, and transport correspondent at the paper.

He received the Workworld Media Award for Print Journalist of the Year in 2006 and for Feature Writer of the Year in 2009. He has a degree in law from University College London.
