Global Data Workstation
The Global Data Workstation (GDW) is a web-based service for accessing our suite of macro, industry, city, and travel databanks.
The tool provides a variety of data selection, heat map and chart visualisations, data downloads, data sharing, and personalisation features, and all assets can be exported as image or Excel files for use in other programs. Users can access the data workstation via My Oxford, or use a Web API.
Excel Data Workstation
The Excel Data Workstation (EDW) is a powerful add-in which allows the user to connect to the Global Data Workstation and Global Model Workstation, and import data selectively or make use of prebuilt and automated Power BI dashboards.
Data from these different systems can be intermingled in the same worksheets and saved for later access. Refresh for new data can be controlled manually or via the VBA automation API.
Global Model Workstation
The Global Model Workstation (GMW) is a desktop application developed to view and analyse data from your own model databases and scenarios created with the Global Economic Model.
GMW provides an enhanced set of features for exploring, visualising and exporting data, and running scenarios. This functionality is provided through the same intuitive user interface as our online databanks.
In addition to subscriber email notifications, global enterprise account customers can receive regular data feeds of latest forecasts. Data feeds are ideal for clients who subscribe to multiple databanks.
Partners and third party resellers can syndicate or resell analysis, which is delivered to them as a regular data or report feed.
All feeds are delivered by email and secure FTP when updated on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Model Command Line Tool
A tool for issuing command line instructions to enable scheduling and automation of repeated operations on model databases, making it easier to develop batch jobs and integrate model bases with other data platforms like Eviews, Excel Power BI, and Tableau.
