5 October 2026 – 3.00pm CEST (Europe)
online

After years of stagnation, fiscal stimulus is lifting Germany’s defence and infrastructure spending, with foreign demand for capital goods offering additional uplift.

But structural problems remain, and the reform agenda is now at risk of stalling. Join our economists for a look at what’s driving Germany’s cyclical recovery, consumer demand, and what the path ahead means for industry and investment.
