Digital technology intersects supply chains
Oxford Economics partenered with IBM's Institute for Business Value to survey 460 chemicals leaders in 19 countries between April and May of 2018. We collected responses from Chief Executive Officers, Chief Supply Chain Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Information Officers, Chief Transformation Officers, VPs of Operations and VPs of Supply Chain. The 460 chemicals respondents come from the various chemicals segments and from different-sized enterprises.
We drew conclusions around key industry issues:
- The three key capabilities of a digital supply chain
- Digital technologies that chemicals industry respondents rated critical to their supply chain strategies
- Imperatives cited by leaders of the most effective supply chain organizations
