Neil McCullough

Neil McCullough is Director of Cities Consultancy. He is responsible for leading economic-impact and forecasting studies across the UK, Local Enterprise Partnerships, and local authorities. He also manages a team of economists in Belfast, London, and New York, who focus on international consultancy assignments.
Neil has extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, with particular emphasis on economic-impact studies, econometric modelling and economic profiling/forecasting. Neil has over 12 years experience undertaking assignments for both public and private sector clients. Recent projects include user-friendly economic-impact models for the Olympic Host Boroughs and the Heart of the South West LEP. He regularly works for international corporations, responding to their individual needs with tailored approaches. Neil graduated in 2000 with a degree in economics from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. He later obtained an MSc in Finance with distinction from Queen’s University Belfast in 2002. During this period, Neil worked with the Northern Ireland Economic Research Centre (NIERC). Prior to joining Oxford Economics he worked as a Senior Economist at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
