Martina Bozadzhieva
Martina Bozadzhieva

Martina is Managing Director at Oxford’s Macro and Investor Services team. She is responsible for the business performance, operations, and product development strategy of the firm’s Macro & Investor Services offering. She also leads Oxford Economics’ corporate advisory team, which supports C-suite executives in using economic insights to inform business strategies.

Martina has 15 years of experience working with C-suite executives, VPs of region, and global strategy leads to support international expansion and growth strategies and to help inform how the external economic and political environment affects their plans. She was most recently Chief Research Officer at corporate advisory and research firm FrontierView, where she supported senior executives with a global remit and oversaw all research and syndicated content at the company. Martina holds BA and MA degrees from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Dave Goodger
Dave Goodger

David Goodger is Managing Director, EMEA, Tourism Economics. He has been instrumental in developing the global model of tourism flows and spending, which covers 185 origins and destinations, and he continues to manage regular forecast updates. He also maintains an active role in new product development and consultancy work.

David Goodger is a Director within Tourism Economics and primarily concentrates on tourism demand forecasting and market sizing. He has also taken an active role in further model development for specific purposes, with an emphasis on examining the economic contributions of particular sectors and the impact of different policies. He has conducted a groundbreaking analysis of the business travel sector for the WTTC and the US Travel Association which estimates the return on investment of corporate spending on travel and he has developed models to define destination marketing allocations.

Since joining Oxford Economics in 2000, David Goodger has been involved in a wide range of forecasting and modelling activities. He has been part of the macroeconomic forecasting and the industrial forecasting teams contributing to both regular reports and specific client studies as well as assisting in the development of detailed forecasting and simulation models.

David was educated at the University of Bristol, England, where he gained a first-class degree in Economics with Statistics; and at the London School of Economics and Political Science, England, where he graduated with an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics.

Nico Palesch
Nico Palesch

Nico is a Senior Economist within Oxford Economics’ Global Industry Service where he is responsible for monitoring and forecasting developments in the transportation & logistics sector, writing industry-related reports and research notes on sector-specific and cross-sector themes and issues, overseeing and expressing the house-view on industrial developments in our monthly publications, and working on bespoke consulting projects.

Nico holds a BSc Joint Honours Political Science and Economics from the University of Ottawa and an MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, achieved with distinction.

Ben May
Ben May

Ben May is a Director of Global Macroeconomic Research at Oxford Economics and is involved in the production and presentation of the company’s global macroeconomic views, with a leading role in our coverage of the advanced economies. Ben joined Oxford Economics in April 2014. He has over 15 years’ experience as a macro economist in the public and private sector and has over a decade’s expertise covering the Eurozone economy.

Before joining the Global Macro team, Ben worked on the Eurozone team at Oxford Economics. In addition to his working covering broad Eurozone issues he was also responsible for research on the ECB and Germany. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Ben spent over six years at Capital Economics and was responsible for the coverage of the southern Eurozone economies throughout the Eurozone crisis. Before that, he spent seven years at the Bank of England, working in three divisions of the Monetary Analysis area of the Bank, which provides research and analysis for the Monetary Policy Committee. Ben has a BSc in Economics with Statistics from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Economics from University College London.
