Job summary
The Cities consulting team produce local impact studies and socioeconomic analysis at the
regional level, supporting local economic planning and strategic analysis. As a placement
student in the cities team, you will assist in producing these regional analyses by supporting
our economists in data collection to report writing. Over the course of the year, students will
gain a deeper understanding of regional economics and how city performance differs from
the macroeconomy, developing technical skills across the MS office suite and the mapping
software QGIS in the process
Key responsibilities include:
- Data gathering and analysis
- Updating and maintaining economic workbooks
