Beyond the Strait—industrial growth after the crisis

10 September 2026 – 11.00am BST (London)
online

Our latest forecasts do not assume an imminent resolution to the crisis over the Strait of Hormuz, which will continue to pose a challenge for growth in certain regions and certain sectors.

However, we do see aggregate industrial activity across the world rebounding next year, which absent a major escalation would mean that 2026 is more of a speed bump than major setback for industrial growth. Join our industry economists to hear about which sectors have proved more and less resilient to the energy price shock, which sectors and regions continue to benefit strongly from the AI datacentre buildout, and what shape we expect the industrial catch-up growth next year to take.

This webinar is being held on our new platform, ON24. If you do not receive your confirmation email, please check your junk and spam folders.
