Reformist Masoud Pezeshkian wins Iran’s election runoff
Iran has elected a new reformist president, the least conservative among the candidates. We think his victory will have no meaningful impact on growth given ongoing sanctions. However, it offers a chance to re-engage nuclear talks, suggesting upside risks for oil production and exports in the medium-term.
