Global Sustainability Model Brochure
The new Global Sustainability Model (GSM) is an extension to Oxford Economics’ renowned Global Economic Impact Model, incorporating environmental and social metrics for the first time.
- The model enables us to produce estimates of economic, environmental and social impacts across the whole of the value chain, on a consistent basis and comparable with UN Sustainable Development Goals and Greenhouse Gas Protocol metrics.
- This type of analysis can assist a company’s or sector’s efforts to track and improve both the impact and sustainability of its operations and to communicate progress to stakeholders and the wider public.
- The GSM leverages the knowledge and techniques we have developed in mapping economic footprints. These footprints incorporate not only the activities of the entity/sector in question, but also its global supply chain.
