Adam Ahmad Samdin is an Economist at Oxford Economics, where he is part of the Asia Macro team. He covers the economic developments and trends in Vietnam and Cambodia, while also supporting the team’s broader regional views. His work involves analyzing macroeconomic data, producing forecasts, and providing insightful commentary on the economic conditions of these countries.  

Before joining Oxford Economics, Adam worked as an Economist at Singapore’s Maritime & Port Authority. During his tenure there, he was responsible for conducting economic research and analysis related to the maritime and port sectors, contributing to policy formulation and strategic planning.  

Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Law, and Economics from Singapore Management University. His academic background, combined with his professional experience, equips him with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles and their practical applications in both the public and private sectors.  

In addition to his core responsibilities, Adam is passionate about staying updated with the latest economic trends and developments in Asia. He actively participates in economic forums and conferences to enhance his expertise, and network within the industry.
