Felicity Hannon is an Associate Director of Oxford Economics’ Climate Scenarios and Macroeconomic Modelling team and has been in this role for over four years. Felicity is responsible for the publication of climate scenarios and regular research on the economic impact of climate change for the new Global Climate Service. Felicity also worked with her team to introduce climate change scenario levers on the Global Economic Model. Previously, Felicity worked as a senior policy advisor at HM Treasury.

Francesco is an Economist on the Global Industry Service at Oxford Economics. He is responsible for the sectoral forecasts of the mechanical engineering sector. Alongside that, he works on a number of bespoke consultancy projects with a focus on the ones pertinent to the engineering sector.

Before joining Oxford Economics, he worked for a year as an econometric analyst at OMD. There, in addition to building mix marketing regression models for various clients, he implemented automation workflows for the extraction and processing of data. Francesco holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from King’s College London. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.

He regularly writes research briefs on climate change, climate policy and low-carbon technologies. Before joining Oxford Economics, Geoffroy was a climate economist in the European Department of the International Monetary Fund and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC. He obtained his PhD from the University of Cambridge.

Gerrit van Rooyen has led the analysis of country risks and macroeconomic forecasts for several sub-Saharan African countries at Oxford Economics Africa for more than eight years. The countries he has covered includes South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Mauritius, Mozambique, Angola, Sao Tome and Principe, and Cape Verde. Gerrit has postgraduate degrees in Financial Economics and Journalism from the University of Stellenbosch and worked as a financial journalist at Media24 for nearly three years before joining Oxford Economics Africa. He was named Business Journalist of the Year at the 2015 Media24 Legends Awards and was also the overall winner of the 2022 Focus Economics Analyst Award for Angola, beating other top macroeconomic forecasters, such as Fitch Solutions, EIU, and JP Morgan.
