Nicola Nobile is Associate Director within the macroeconomics forecasting division of Oxford Economics. He joined Oxford Economics in September 2012 in Oxford and now is the Chief Italian Economist, based in Milan. Nicola has a BA in Finance and a MSc in Economics, both from Bocconi University.

Niti joined Oxford Economics in 2021 as a member of the consulting department, focusing on ports and freight related projects on a global scale. She has assisted with development of long-term trade forecasts for a range of ports both here in Australia and overseas. This has involved deep dives into the ports and the activity through them and translating this into economic drivers of future trade activity.

She has international experience in consulting on projects within Local Government, Maritime, Transport & Logistics and the Consumer Goods Industry. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Niti worked at DP World Dubai for six years, in which time she led/co-led a Business Intelligence team covering non-containerised cargo business in the UAE region.

Noelani King Conradie is the managing director for Oxford Economics Africa. Towards the end of 2002, Noelani decided to launch an independent economic service and founded NKC Independent Economists. The business has since grown into a team of over 30 people and in 2015 Noelani sold a majority stake in NKC to Oxford Economics. The company name was then rebranded as NKC African Economics. In September 2021, NKC African Economics decided to fully align its brand with its majority shareholder and became known as Oxford Economics Africa.

Noelani obtained her BCom (Honours) degree from the University of Pretoria, receiving distinctions for both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Her career started in 1995 at RMB Asset Management, before she became a financial economist at Absa Corporate Bank's treasury department. After a period in the stock-brokering arena at SG Frankel Pollak Securities, she relocated to Cape Town to start an economics department at PSG Investment Bank in 1999.

Norihiro is a Senior Economist at Oxford Economics. Based in Tokyo, he is engaged in forecasting and analysing Japanese and APAC economy. Prior to joining Oxford Economics in 2021, he worked as an economist at Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance in Tokyo for 9 years, covering Japan's economy, European economy, and global financial markets. During his time at Meiji Yasuda, he has written quarterly economic outlook, and thematic reports on macroeconomic developments and insurance capital regulations. He holds a Master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago in the United States, and a Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Tokyo.

Oliver is Oxford Economics’ Chief Germany Economist and Deputy Head of the European Macroeconomics team. He is based in its Frankfurt office and his research is focused on Germany, ECB policy and inflation. Prior to joining the company in 2017, he has been a senior economist for Deutsche Bank Research in Frankfurt for seven years working in its macroeconomic and industry teams. He holds a Master’s degree from London School of Economics.

Padmasai is an Economist within the EMEA Macro Consulting team, based in the Oxford office. Since joining Oxford Economics in July 2019, she has contributed to a range of projects with a focus on economic forecasting, international trade and issues relating to the financial sector. She is also the country economist responsible for Pakistan.

Before joining Oxford Economics, Padmasai worked as an Economist in the Research and Public Policy division at the World Federation of Exchanges in London where she undertook research on global stock and derivatives exchanges and the wider economy.

She holds an MSc in Economics from University College London (UCL) and has also passed the CFA Level 1 exam.

Paolo Grignani is a senior economist within the macro forecasting division of Oxford Economics. He joined the company in 2022 and provides country coverage of Greece, alongside a host of smaller economies. Beyond that, he produces thematic research on the eurozone and Italy. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, he worked at Banca Sella.

Paul de Cintra is a Director based at our Dubai office and London where he focuses on project development and support across the Middle East.

Paul started his career as an Economist at National Westminster Bank focused on country risk analysis and then moved to BT where he worked as an econometrician. The focus here was on developing innovative forecasting systems and developing associated training and education programmes for management from board level down. Paul then moved into economic consulting. More recently Paul worked at Experian where he led the development of credit risk scores "with economic foresight built-in". Paul holds a BA (Hons) degree from Durham University in Economics and an MSc from City of London (Guildhall) University in Econometrics.

Senior market research and data insights professional with 30 years of experience across quantitative and qualitative studies, ad-hoc and multi-client projects. Extensive experience in strategic management of large end to end projects and client relationships across B2B, consumer, government & industry.

Pete Collings leads Oxford Economics’ Economic Impact Consulting teams in Europe and the Middle East. During his time at Oxford Economics, Pete has managed and conducted a number of large consulting projects including a major global economic impact study of Etihad Airways, a project assessing the contribution Rolls-Royce makes to both the UK and the global economy, Oxford Economics’ impact work for Abu Dhabi Ports Company, several pieces assessing the economic impact of nuclear power in the UK, a number of studies exploring Gatwick Airport’s economic contribution and research assessing Boeing’s employment impact on the EU.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics in 2009, Pete worked in the Fiscal Policy Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs, Zanzibar, on the ODI Fellowship Scheme. He has degrees from the University of York and the University of London.

Peter Suomi is the Senior Vice President and head of business for the company in the Americas, including the United States, Canada and Latin America. He also serves as the Co-Managing Director for the firm's operations in the Americas and is a member of Oxford Economics global Senior Management Team.

Prior to his role in the Americas, Peter was based in Singapore where he was the head of the firm's business in Asia-Pacific, including operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan & Australia. He also led the firm's expansion on the West Coast US, setting up operations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Before joining Oxford, Peter held a number of management positions in both the US and globally. He worked at the Economist Intelligence Unit for seven years, in New York, Australia, Singapore, and India, and was instrumental in the opening of the offices in Sydney and Delhi.

Peter holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in economics and political science from the University of Michigan.

Phil oversees editorial standards across all Oxford Economics’ consulting and cities and regions projects.

Prior to joining the company in 2021, he ran a consultancy business Clarity Economics that produced reports, op-eds, and analysis pieces for a wide range of clients and media outlets. Previously he was an economics correspondent at The Independent newspaper in London, where he wrote news stories, features, and comment articles. He was also night editor, business news editor, and transport correspondent at the paper.

He received the Workworld Media Award for Print Journalist of the Year in 2006 and for Feature Writer of the Year in 2009. He has a degree in law from University College London.

Pierre graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP Business School) in 2000, then pursued an MSc in Macroeconomics at Paris-Dauphine University with a thesis on macroeconomic equilibrium, and a BA in Philosophy from Paris-Sorbonne University. After a short experience at Arthur Andersen, he joined the internet holding of Vivendi as a financial analyst. Turning to economics through his MSc, he joined Oxford Economics in 2004 in Oxford as an economist covering Asian and European economies. Pierre came back to Paris in 2007 to set up Oxford Economics operations on the Continent. He is now heading the Paris office which covers France, Iberia, Belgium and French-speaking Africa.

Pieter is a political economist at Oxford Economics Africa, first joining the firm in 2019. He holds an MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics (LSE) and is the principal analyst for Nigeria and Mauritius. Pieter specialises in macroeconomics and political-economic risk analysis.

As Vice President of Business Development, Rakan Mosely leads Oxford Economics’ expansion into the Western United States. He has established a new office for us in Santa Monica, California, where he will be promoting our elite offering of economic subscription and consultancy services to major institutional entities, investors, and corporate strategic planners.

Rakan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having spearheaded the growth of our Asset Management business since 2014. He previously held roles in private wealth management for Citi and more recently oversaw new business and account management for BCA Research in the U.K. He is a specialist in identifying the global business requirements of chief strategists and has worked extensively within financial markets and blue-chip corporations

Raul is a Senior Economist within the Oxford Economics’ Economic Impact team. Prior to joining BIS Oxford Economics, Raul was an Analyst with the Antitrust practice of NERA Economic Consulting.

He has ample experience providing detailed econometric analysis to public and private sector clients, and his modelling has been used in diverse fields such as communications and internet, financial services, I.T., radio spectrum auctions, and regulatory economics.

Raul holds a B.A. in Political Science from ITAM University, Mexico and a Master of Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia.

Rehan has been leading the new business development team for Australia and New Zealand since 2019. He has over 10 years of experience in business information/intelligence services working across Finance, Government, Tourism, Consumer Goods & Services, Property, Logistics & Professional Services.

Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Rehan spent 7 years with Euromonitor International where he was a business development manager and later leading the new business development team for Australia & New Zealand

Director of South East Asia & Greater China

Ricardo re-joined Oxford Economics in April 2021 as a Lead Economist in the eurozone team. He is responsible for producing and presenting macroeconomic forecasts for Portugal. He also contributes to the team's timely analysis of incoming data and news flow and thematic research on the eurozone economy. Ricardo is a well-rounded economist with previous roles spanning coverage of Ireland and Ireland's key trading partners (eurozone, UK and US) and financial market developments, in particular interest and exchange rates.

Ricardo started his career working in public policy at the European Commission. Ricardo was educated at the Nova School of Business and Economics and Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, where he obtained a master's degree in economics and finance.

Ricardo is an Assistant Economist in the Latin America team. He is responsible for the macroeconomic coverage of some countries of the region and supports the team in the publication of recurrent updates.

Ricardo first joined Oxford Economics as an intern in the Mexico City office in August 2022 and was promoted to an Assistant Economist one year later. Ricardo graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey and holds a Bachelor Degree in Financial Management.
