Why Oxford Economics

Turn fragmented data into consistent insight

City and regional data are often fragmented, with inconsistent geographic definitions and varying economic indicators across sources. We standardise and harmonise these inputs into a single, consistent framework, saving you time and enabling true like-for-like comparison across locations.

Global to local modelling framework

City and regional forecasts are produced in conjunction with our Global Economic Model, ensuring that global forces such as trade cycles, investment conditions, and financial shocks, alongside domestic policy settings, are reflected in local outlooks. Our regional economists incorporate local dynamics so forecasts capture on-the-ground realities.

Unmatched regional coverage

We provide one of the most comprehensive city and regional datasets available, covering more than 8,000 locations across advanced and emerging economies. This breadth enables consistent analysis across markets, supporting everything from global benchmarking to local decision-making.

Forward-looking forecasts and scenarios

We combine long-term forecasts with alternative scenarios to help you assess the implications of economic shocks, structural change, and policy uncertainty across markets. Updated monthly, this enables more resilient planning and helps organisations prepare for a range of future outcomes.
