Margarida joined Oxford Economics in 2019 as a graduate in the London office.

She works in the Applied Economics team where she has been involved in a variety of projects, including a literature review on the effectiveness of soft drink taxation on health and revenue objectives, and a literature review on the benefits of digital services in Europe. She has also supported the econometric modelling of future demand for meat in the UK and several reports on the economic, societal, and cultural benefits of YouTube in different countries.

Before joining Oxford Economics, Margarida worked for the Portuguese Agency for Trade and Investment in London. She holds both a BSc and a MSc in Economics from NOVA SBE and while completing her dissertation, she did an internship at the Portuguese Ministry of Economy.

At Cushman, Mark led the quarterly city-level property forecasting service, produced pan-European property market consultancy reports and authored a range of content on cyclical and thematic issues. Prior to that Mark spent 7 years at GIC Real Estate as an Assistant Vice President in their Global Research & Strategy team focussing on European market analysis, investment strategy and asset allocation.

Martina is Director in our Macro and Investor Services team where she looks after OE's Real Estate Economics Service and also heads up the Corporate Advisory team. The corporate advisory team supports executives at corporates in bringing the power of economics to their planning, investment, and monitoring work and bridges the gap between economic analysis and impactful business decisions. 

Previously, Martina was Chief Research Officer at FrontierView where she oversaw the company's global research team and worked extensively to support VPs of region, CFOs, and strategy leaders at some of the world's largest multinational companies. Her background combines economic and political training with extensive experience of applying these to the needs of global business leaders. Martina holds a BA in International Affairs from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and a MA in Eurasian, Russian, and East European studies from Georgetown.

Mateusz Urban is a Senior Economist within the macro forecasting division of Oxford Economics. He is providing coverage of Poland and Hungary, alongside a host of smaller economies. Beyond that, he is producing thematic research on the ECB and the eurozone. He is based in Frankfurt and Warsaw.

Previously, he was working in the Scenarios, Stress Testing and Financial Modelling team in London. Before joining Oxford Economics, he interned at Deloitte, working in the economic analysis team, and at Oxera, a consultancy, where he focused on economic modelling and forecasting. Mateusz holds a MA in Political Economy degree from Duke University and a first-class BSc in Economics degree from the University of Nottingham.

Since joining Oxford Economics Matthew has built on his expertise in economic consultancy,​ developing a specialty in economic impact assessments, cost-benefit analysis and policy development. Currently, Matthew helps lead the EMEA tourism consultancy unit within Oxford Economics.

Matthew has completed a number of tourism impact and policy studies for destinations around the world as well as for discrete parts of the accommodation and aviation sectors. He has also been the lead analyst for the development of a number of tourism satellite accounts and has been heavily involved in our work to assess the total economic value of various cultural and environmental assets.

Previously Matthew worked at KPMG, where he focused on winning and delivering economic consultancy work in key local, national and European markets. Matthew holds a first-class economics degree from the University of Ulster.

Matthew is an Economist within Oxford Economics' Global Industry Service, working on subscription service developments. He is responsible for monitoring and forecasting the construction industry, as well as developments to the forecasting process for the sector. He also works on a variety of bespoke research projects and recurring forecasting projects for clients operating in the construction sector, but also other sectors such as aerospace.

In addition to his work on the GIS, Matthew contributes to Oxford Economics' Global Construction Service and is responsible for the United States Construction Forecasting Service.

He first joined as a placement student in 2020, before returning in 2022 after completing his Economics and Management degree at Loughborough University.

He joined the team in 2021 and is based in our Dubai office. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Matthew was a Sales Director at Fitch Solutions covering business development across the Middle East having moved to Dubai from London to help set-up their UAE office in 2015. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Management (with a speciality in International Business) and a Batchelor’s degree in Philosophy, both from the University of Sheffield.
