Canada | Recovery Tracker continues upward charge in early May
The Canada Recovery Tracker (CRT) climbed 2.3ppts to 89.4 in the week ended May 14, its third consecutive rise. Six of seven subcomponents increased, led by health, mobility, and sentiment.

- The health index jumped 17.1ppts as all subcomponents improved. New cases per million dropped 16% w/w to the lowest since early April.
- As of May 14, about 17.7mn vaccines had been administered, and 1.4mn people (3.6% of the population) were fully inoculated.
- Mobility rose 3.2ppts w/w as all subcomponents improved, led by retail and recreation and driving.
