Placement Roles – 2023-2024

General requirements for all roles:
  • A good grasp of economic theory
  • Expected grade of 2:1 or above
  • Experience with economic data and analysis and coursework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A good eye for detail
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with manipulation of data sets using software such as Access/Stata/Eviews/R/Python would be a plus

These positions are for Economics students who will have already completed two years of their degree when they start in July 2023. Graduates should not apply for these roles, there is a separate scheme for graduates. The salary is £22,000 with the opportunity of a discretionary 15% annual bonus.
