Exploring the results

The Global Scenarios Workstation is integrated with our existing Global Model Workstation and Generate Results Tables applications to give users several ways to explore the impacts of their chosen scenario. For example, if you make a chart selection in the Global Model Workstation and then run a scenario, your chart will automatically be refreshed to include the new scenario database.

Working with model solution files

If you already use .EQN or .RUN files with our Global Economic Model, you will be able to use the same files in the Global Scenarios Workstation and thereby take advantage of the results analysis integration described above.

What if I encounter an error in the application ?

If an error occurs, you may be asked if you would like to send us an error report. If you proceed, you will see a draft email in your default email client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook). This email includes some useful information and attachments which may help us to diagnose the problem.

Please feel free to add to this email any further details about the error and what was happening in the application at the time it occurred. When you’re ready, send it to the pre-populated address.

If you are not asked to send an error report, please follow these steps to generate one:

  1. In the Global Model Workstation main menu, click Settings –> Show Debug Tab
  2. A new tab called Debug will appear, please select it
  3. Click the button Draft diagnostic email at the top of the tab

Again, please feel free to add to this email any further details about the error and what was happening in the application at the time it occurred, then send it to the pre-populated address.
