Global Economic Model Extension

Proxy models for 108 additional countries

We have expanded the Global Economic Model to include a number of smaller economies not currently covered in the standard model release, which covers the 80 largest world economies. Proxy models allow us to simulate the impact of an external shock on the smaller economies, for example what would happen if China’s economy slowed sharply, or if oil prices rise.

The model extension can be integrated into the Global Economic Model and is fully compatible with all of the software’s standard features, including the scenario dashboards and results tables.
