More robust recovery in 2022 after a disappointing 2021

Provided the Omicron variant does not prove disastrous, most APAC economies will grow at a faster q/q pace in 2022 than in 2021, a more upbeat forecast than we're projecting for the US, eurozone, and Latin America. But the improvement to a great degree reflects a rebound from 2021’s disappointing performance when the Delta variant hit the region much harder than elsewhere.
