Recovering demand will fuel production in 2022-2023

Asia is not immune to the ongoing struggles of global supply chains. But we see less evidence of supply-side pressures compared to the US and Europe. Instead, it’s China’s weakening demand and strict constraints on mobility in many parts of the region that has weighed on manufacturing.
