BoJ is doubtful of price increases after reopening

The Bank of Japan left monetary policy unchanged at today’s meeting, maintaining short-term and long-term interest rates at current levels. The board announced the framework for its funding-for-lending scheme to address climate change, which would commence operations within this year.
