Treasury to ease up on bill cuts despite the debt limit

Treasury plans to reduce bill supply and its cash balances less than expected as it prepares for the current suspension of the debt limit to expire on July 31. Treasury anticipates cutting bill supply by $150bn over the next three months to achieve a cash balance target of $450bn by the end of July.
