Next up, the $1.8tn American Families Plan

Last week, President Biden outlined his American Families Plan (AFP), which would spend $1.8tn to support workers and families by boosting spending on education, health care, childcare and paid sick leave. Biden has proposed to offset most of the cost of the plan with higher taxes on upper income households and stepped up tax collection efforts by the IRS.
