Recovery Tracker trips over the Easter holiday

Our eurozone Recovery Tracker declined 1.1pts in early April as the timing of the Easter holiday this year artificially depressed annual comparisons for consumption and production indicators. Outside of the weekly volatility, the Tracker has generally plateaued since mid-March as lock-down restrictions keep the economy on hold while vaccine rollouts gain momentum.
