BoJ’s outlook shows the long road to 2% inflation

The Bank of Japan left monetary policy settings unchanged at today’s policy meeting. The board decided to maintain short-term and long-term interest rates at current levels, and its asset purchase guidelines that were revised at the last meeting to provide more flexibility in operations.
