FOMC minutes: Fed’s patience not believed by markets

The FOMC minutes from the March 16 – 17 policy meeting underscored that the Fed is willing to run the economy hot to achieve broad-based, inclusive full-employment, and policymakers do not believe the rise in inflation will be “large or persistent.” The Fed will be extremely patient in raising the policy rate.
