South Korea: Building and Construction in South Korea 2021-2025: February 2021 Update

​Despite Covid-related disruptions, South Korea’s overall construction spending or work done value is expected to have registered a 1.4% growth in 2020, propped up by infrastructure spending as the public sector ramped up disbursements for ongoing infrastructure projects amid the economic growth slowdown. Civil engineering investment grew by an estimated 7.1%, while the residential and non-residential sectors were subdued in 2020, with an estimated 1% contraction each in work done. ​
