Norges Bank kept interest rates unchanged at zero, and while it signalled a slightly earlier timing of the first-rate hike in 2022, the path in 2023 was lowered. Economic developments since June were broadly as anticipated. Although concerns about the risk of financial imbalances persist, the outlook on the recovery remains too uncertain to warrant an earlier tightening in policy.
