The dollar is correcting, not collapsing

The recent fall in the dollar, which has lost around 7% of its value from a peak earlier this year, in our view reflects an unwinding of a number of short-term dollar positives and a modest deterioration of longer-term fundamentals. This looks like a correction rather than the beginning of a dramatic collapse.
