The ageing clock is ticking in the south

The coronavirus outbreak is delivering a severe blow to the eurozone economy. Although we still expect the longer-term repercussions to be limited as economies un-freeze and activity bounces back, we think potential growth will be weak particularly in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece for many years.
