Global Risk Survey: Coronavirus clouds fading pessimism

Business concerns over near-term global economic weakness had eased prior to the latest intensification of the coronavirus outbreak, based on our Q1 2020 survey of risk perceptions. The reported balance of risks fell in January to the least negative level in two years on the back of the phase one US-China trade deal.
