New land production in Adelaide has been subdued over the past two years after peaking in 2015/16. Despite this, there has been some moderate growth in land prices in this time which has made new housing less affordable relative to the established house market. Together with weak population growth and underlying demand, this will contain growth land price growth and new land production, with a relatively flat outlook expected in the short to medium term.
