Global growth easing, but not alarmingly so

We continue to see a moderate, slightly sharper slowdown in global GDP growth in 2019 than both the consensus and the IMF. While the US is expected to remain a source of economic strength, the boost that this will provide the rest of the world might be at least partially offset by the negative effects associated with higher US bond yields and a stronger dollar.
