Still little reason to fear a surge in core inflation

Concerns that tight labour markets and a lack of spare capacity will trigger a sustained rise in inflation pressures in the advanced economies have contributed to the recent surge in bond yields. While we expect price pressures to build, the prospect of a sharp and prolonged rise in underlying inflation still seems slim.
