Global credit conditions starting to diverge

Our latest analysis of global credit conditions surveys reveals a diverging picture, with improvement in the G7 but worsening in EM. Overall, the global surveys point to near-term global growth staying around 3%. But EM credit standards are tightening again, in line with recent financial strains, and the Chinese credit impulse is negative – implying downside risks to EM growth.
