Joining Oxford Economics in 2018, she has amassed significant experience in Oxford Services and a diverse client base.

    In her role as Senior Account Manager, Trang ensures that our clients optimize the benefits of Oxford Economics Services. Her approach centers around a deep understanding of our client’s strategic initiatives and the invaluable use-cases that Oxford Economics can address. Her primary focus lies in achieving client success and fostering lasting relationships—an enduring professional passion. Trang is recognized as a dedicated team player who thrives on collaboration.

    Before joining Oxford Economics, Trang garnered experience across various industries, specializing in economic research, field research on the Impact of climate change, sustainability, and multilateral cooperation. Originally from Vietnam and raised in Germany, she has traversed the globe, living and working in the US, South Africa, Switzerland, the Philippines, and India. Fluent in German, English, and Vietnamese, Trang holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Tübingen University and Cape Town University. She furthered her academic pursuits with a Master’s Degree in International Development from Marburg, supported by a scholarship from the Robert Bosch Stiftung.

    Daniel Harenberg

    Lead Economist, Global Macro

    Daniel is a Lead Economist in Oxford Economics’ Global Team. Based in our Frankfurt office, he works on long-term, structural economic questions and provides coverage for the Netherlands. Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Daniel was a senior research fellow at the Center for Economic Research of ETH Zurich in Switzerland and at the Research Center SAFE of Goethe University in Frankfurt. Daniel received his PhD in economics from the University of Mannheim and has published in leading international journals such as the International Economic Review and Quantitative Economics.

    Business Development Manager

    Babak is responsible for consultancy sales in all lines of business across EMEA and is driving the strategic growth and development initiatives for our consulting business in Continental Europe. Based in our office in Frankfurt am Main, he works in close collaboration with private and public clients to enhance their public affairs, corporate strategy and thought leadership initiatives.

    Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Babak has worked within transaction advisory and business consulting at PwC and Deloitte as well as within management roles in two different medium-sized businesses. He also gained valuable experience as an entrepreneur within the fitness & health industry. Babak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Economics as well as a Master’s degree in Management from Ruhr-University Bochum (DE) while spending parts of his studies at Oklahoma State University (USA).

    Associate Director of Economic Consulting, Continental Europe

    Johanna Neuhoff is Associate Director for economic consulting services in Continental Europe. She is an expert evaluating the impact of policy changes, in forecasting and scenario building as well as in economic impact assessment. Her extensive knowledge in the real estate, housing, mobility/transport, and green economy sector helped her in leading several complex and international consulting projects for public and private clients such as the Ministry of Justice and consumer protection (BMJV), the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), German Music Industry Association (BVMI), Association of the German Automobile Industry (VDA) and the Association of private building societies (Verband der Privaten Bausparkassen e.V.).

    Prior to Oxford Economics, Johanna Neuhoff worked at DIW Econ, the consultancy firm of the German Institute for Economic Research, at GESI Gesellschaft für Systeminnovation mbH – a consultancy firm focused on green transformation projects in the field of mobility – and empirica ag – one of the leading German research and consultancy institute for urban and regional economics. Johanna Neuhoff holds a Diploma with a focus on social and political sciences in Economics from the University of Potsdam, Germany, and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin, USA, – both degrees with special distinction.

    Senior Economist, Economic Impact

    Jan Sun is a Senior Economist in the Economic Impact Consulting Team in Continental Europe. His work focuses on public economics, finance, policy analysis, applied econometrics, and heterogeneous-agent models.

    Prior to joining Oxford Economics, Jan completed a PhD in economics from the University of Mannheim in 2022. His research focused on the field of macroeconomics, in particular household finance and family economics. He also holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Mannheim and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Munich. He has previously worked at the University of Mannheim, the University of Munich and as an intern at the German central bank in the financial stability department.

    Hannah Zick is part of the Economic Impact Consulting Team in Continental Europe. She is mainly involved in projects in Germany and the DACH region. Her work focuses on public economics, policy analysis, applied econometrics and environmental economics.

    Before joining Oxford Economics, Hannah studied economics in Marburg and Mannheim, with periods abroad in the UK and Switzerland. She has previously worked at ZEW Mannheim and the University of Marburg.

    Sven v. Wangenheim is part of the Economic Impact Consulting Team in Continental Europe. His work focuses on socioeconomic impact assessments in European countries and regions, including the projects “Importance of the music industry for the Hamburg metropolitan region” and “The impact of Tata Steel’s transition to a clean, green, and circular company on the Dutch economy and society”.

    Before joining Oxford Economics, Sven studied Political Science and Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Economics at Humboldt University of Berlin. He has previously worked at Save the Children’s Center of Utilizing Behavioral Science for Children and at Humboldt University.

    Deputy Head Europe, Macro

    Oliver is Oxford Economics’ Chief Germany Economist and Deputy Head of the European Macroeconomics team. He is based in its Frankfurt office and his research is focused on Germany, ECB policy and inflation. Prior to joining the company in 2017, he has been a senior economist for Deutsche Bank Research in Frankfurt for seven years working in its macroeconomic and industry teams. He holds a Master’s degree from London School of Economics.
