Gain insights to make informed decisions

We experiment ongoing political and economic changes which transform the future of air passenger traffic. Keeping up with a fast-paced economic environment and assess the implications for your business can be challenging and time-consuming. We help clients understand how air passenger traffic will evolve and how current political and economic trends can affect growth rates.

The Air Passenger Forecast service (APF) was jointly created by Tourism Economics, an Oxford Economics company, and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to provide long-term forecasts of air passenger flows. This includes coverage of total domestic and international flows for 183 countries and for nearly 4,000 country and region pair routes. Alternative forecast scenarios are included, based on different assumptions for the fundamental economic drivers of air travel demand, providing valuable input for your long-term strategic decision-making.
