The site provides a platform for news and discussion about the ways cloud computing and cloud platforms are being used to bring businesses to the next level of collaboration, application development, customer experience, and mobile services. The hub also serves as the focal point of a large-scale research program on Platform-as-a-Service technology and usage, which includes a global survey of executives, in-depth interviews with corporate stakeholders, desk research, and the contents of the blog itself.

From social media to social CRM: Reinventing the customer relationship
Social CRM—the integration of social media with customer relationship management (CRM) strategies—is the next frontier for organisations that want to optimise the power of social interactions to get closer to customers. We worked in partnership with IBM to produce a white paper on how social media will transform customer relationships. The research methods used included a survey, interviews, and a unique social media research hub to identify trends and deliver results.
The research hub included a social CRM blog to solicit feedback from social media and CRM specialists and to foster discussion on this vitally important topic. Findings and insights from the research hub were integrated with the survey tool to maximise impact.
