How we create high-impact charts and dashboards
Crafting powerful visual graphics, dashboards, and benchmarking tools takes a special blend of economic acumen, business knowledge, design skills, and publishing creativity—unique hallmarks of the global Oxford Economics team. Our economists, editors, and designers work together to produce a variety of visually powerful elements to illustrate the findings of our research. Specifically, we can:
- Conceive and design infographics. Our editors work with designers to create engaging snapshots that encapsulate the key findings of our research. We can incorporate these graphics into white papers, PowerPoint presentations, social media programmes, or microsites. These infographics can be static or interactive.
- Develop data filtering tools. To make our survey and economic data easier to use, we can create filtering tools that help executives assess key trends for their industry, country of operation, job function, and corporate size.
- Produce web-based dashboards. We work with our clients to understand the key metrics and KPIs required, and then collaborate with our internal data team to build dynamic charts in dashboard format to help executives track market trends, benchmark their performance, and engage more directly with clients and customers. These dashboards can also be provided as static designs.
- Provide data-rich charts and tables. Our papers and other research outputs include professionally designed charts and tables to give readers a clear understanding of the trends, risks, and opportunities they will face in their day-to-day roles. Often our survey data is melded with economic indicators to give readers a clear understanding of how macroeconomic issues influence key business concerns.
