As part of our research program, Oxford Economics conducted a series of interviews with senior executives about how their companies are changing around advanced software methods.
In March 2015, CA Technologies commissioned Oxford Economics to conduct a global survey of senior business and technology executives about software strategy and its impact on business outcomes. The results clearly show that companies are adapting to the application economy at a rapid and accelerating pace, and rethinking competitive advantage and differentiation in the process. This briefing paper discusses our survey findings and analysis, and includes real-life case studies from executive interviews conducted for the program.
Infographic: Playing to win in the Application Economy
A recent survey of 200 senior business and technology executives shows gaining competitive advantage in the app economy requires companies to transform themselves into software-driven enterprises. That means more than just hitting “play” on new apps—it demands new approaches to customer relationships, operations, and sourcing skills and talent. This infographic, built by Oxford Economics in collaboration with CA Technologies, displays data from the global survey conducted for the research project.
